Art History

Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, Raffaello — (no, we're not talking about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) these are among the all-time grandmasters of the Art world! Their works included paintings, sculptures, architecture, science, and more. They were pioneers of their times and helped lay the foundations of our modern society.

Art history studies aesthetic entities, visual expressions, and scientific breakthroughs in historical, cultural, and stylistic contexts. Traditionally, art history emphasized drawing, painting, sculpture, architecture, and decorative arts. Today, however, art history examines a holistic visual culture related to an evolving art science. It's about the visual expression of global cultures that historically conveys their essence, importance, or standing.

Our Art history Collection primarily comprises framed (and unframed) Giclee prints of some of the most famous paintings in the world — all produced by the greatest artists ever. Their paintings span historical art eras like the Renaissance (1350-1600 AD), Baroque (1600-1750 AD), and Neoclassical (1750-1800 AD) periods. Rembrandt, Willem van de Velde the Younger, Willem van Aelst, and Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, are just some of the names included in the collection, with many more to come.

Our licensed images are extremely high-resolution and untouched (beyond the restoration process of the museums where they're currently housed) by photo-editing software, so as to give you high definition details and color accuracy, retaining the original look of a timeless masterpiece.
